The RICHES project archives digitized materials obtained through work with our academic, industry, and community partners; from history harvests to faculty projects, RICHES uses Omeka Classic as our primary archival application. Our Omeka site stores all of these artifacts, and our materials are organized as follows:
- Exhibits: these are detailed, organized groupings of materials assembled and organized carefully with our relevant partner(s); they intend to highlight certain materials in a manner which scaffolds user interaction with the archived items.
- Collections: Accessed through our collection tree, these are topically-organized groupings of materials with a common theme. Less structured than exhibits, our collections nevertheless enable visitors to find relevant groupings of materials more easily.
